・ナルトを書くきっかけは？
最初はラーメンの話を書こうと思った　麺とスープの絡みとか
でもダメだったから主人公のナルトの名前を引き継いで日本の忍者でスタート

・こだわったテーマは？
「認める」「認められたい」
漫画の編集者に認められたいという思いを主人公に持っていった

・意識してる読者層は？
一番が子供　中学二年の男の子　土下座してでも見てくれ
中学２年の男の子が持ってる感覚は宝

・中学二年の時に何かあった？
プロの漫画家になろうと思った

・ライバルは？
いっぱい　一人に絞り切れない　ジャンプ作家はみんなライバル
でも一番怖いのは才能のあるまだ出てない新人

"The reason you started to write Naruto?"
"At the beginning, I thought I'd write a story about ramen... something about the relationship between noodles and soup. But that was no good, so I passed that part over to the protagonist's name and started to write about Japanese ninja."

"The theme that you fussed over the most?"
"The idea of being acknowledged, of wanting to be acknowledged. I gave the protagonist my own feelings of wanting to be acknowledged by my manga's editor."

"The class of readers that you keep in mind (when writing)?"
"First of all, children... second year schoolboys in middle school. Even if I have to prostrate myself, please watch me! The feelings held by second year schoolboys in middle school are a real treasure."

"Did something happen when you were in the second year of middle school?"
"I decided I wanted to become a professional mangaka."

"Your rival?"
"There are many. I can't narrow it down to just one. All the Jump authors are rivals with each other. Though the most frightening of all are the newcomers whose talent still hasn't come out."

まだがちがちには固めていませんが、どういう風に見せるのか、どうやって終わるのかはかなり明 確に決まっ
てます
あとはそこに向かって走って行くだけです

-------となるとラストまでのボリュームが気になります。

いや、それが全然読めないんです(笑)予想していたよりも全然進んでいなくって。
3年くらい前のJFでカカシ活躍させるよって言っておきながら
まだそれも出来ていない状況
正直、どれだけ掛かるのか、自分でも分かりません。
アニメのキャラデザの西尾さんにも「いつまで続くんだ～」って言われ
「もう1年半くらい」って答えましたが、どうやらもっと続きそうです

いろいろありますよ。本来出てくるはずのないキャラがまだ出てきます
そして………。まだまだナルトと一緒に盛り上って行きますので応援よろしくお願いしま

"Let me ask you something about your exciting work, that is so greatly admired. Can we already see the end of the story on the horizon?"

"Not everything is set in stone just yet... like for example, in what way I'm going to show it - but the way I'm going to end it has been decided pretty clearly. So from now on, it will just be a matter of running towards that point."

"...in that case, you have in mind even the very last volume."

"No, you won't be able to read something like that. (laugh) The story really hasn't progressed as much as I was expecting. About three years ago, at JF, I said that I would give Kakashi more to do in the manga... and yet I still haven't been able to do that. Honestly, I myself don't know how much it will take. Nishio-san, who takes care of the character designs for the anime, also asked me for how long the story would continue... and I answered 'About one year and a half'. But it seems like it will take longer than that."

"Can we be expecting any more surprises?"

"There are still quite a few. Some characters who originally weren't going to appear will come up again. And then... well, things are going to get exciting with Naruto, so please give me your support."

--------今回の映画に入らなかったネタはありますか?

頭の中にあったものは、とことん入れたつもりです
ただ、新たなアイデアも実はあるんです
もう原作の本編では描けそうにないので、編集部のオッケーが出れば
どこかで読切りなどで実現出来たらなと密かに思ってるネタもあります
ちょっとサスペンス的な展開とか…詳しくは秘密ですが、色々挑戦したいです

"Is there any material that you weren't able to insert in this year's movie?"

"I intended to insert all the things that were inside my head. It's just that I also have some novel ideas. There is some material that I probably won't be able to insert in the original work, but if I get the okay of the editorial department, secretly I'd like to insert it somewhere, like in a non-serialized story... some suspensful developments... the details are a secret, but there are many challenges that I'd like to face."

La razón por la que empecé a escribir Naruto? "
"Al principio, pensé que me gustaría escribir una historia acerca de ramen ... algo sobre la relación entre los fideos y sopa. Pero eso no era bueno, por lo que pasó esa parte a nombre de la protagonista y comenzó a escribir acerca de ninja japonés ".

"El tema que se desvivieron por más?"
"La idea de ser reconocido, de querer ser reconocido. Me dio la protagonista de mis propios sentimientos de querer ser reconocido por el editor de mi manga."

"La clase de lectores que tener en cuenta (al escribir)?"
"En primer lugar, los niños ... colegiales de segundo año en la secundaria. Incluso si tengo que postrarme, por favor verlo! Los sentimientos en poder de los escolares de segundo año en la escuela media son un verdadero tesoro."

"¿Pasó algo cuando usted estaba en el segundo año de la escuela secundaria?"
"Yo decidí que quería convertirse en un profesional mangaka".

"Su rival?"
"Hay muchos. No puedo reducirlo a uno solo. Todos los autores de salto son rivales entre sí. A pesar de la más terrible de todos son los recién llegados, cuyo talento aún no ha salido."

"Déjame preguntarte algo sobre tu trabajo apasionante, que es tan admirado. ¿Podemos ya ver el final de la historia en el horizonte?"

"No todo está escrito en piedra todavía ... como por ejemplo, de qué manera me voy a ver -. Pero la forma en que voy a acabar con ella se ha decidido con bastante claridad lo tanto a partir de ahora, lo hará acaba de ser una cuestión de correr hacia ese punto. "

"... En ese caso, usted tiene en mente incluso el volumen de último momento."

"No, usted no será capaz de leer algo como eso (risas). La historia en realidad no ha progresado tanto como yo esperaba. Hace unos tres años, en JF, le dije que iba a dar a Kakashi que ver más en el manga ... y sin embargo todavía no he sido capaz de hacer eso. Honestamente, yo no sé cuánto se tardará.
